Beauty Questions

I did not come up with this myself*

Hello again :)
Today I thought I'd do a TAG post.
Something fun and simple whilst I have a bit of free time :)

  1. How many times a day do you wash your face? Twice a day; once in the morning, once at night.
  2. What skin type do you have? Oily but it can get dry depending on the weather.
  3. What is your current facial wash? Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean.
  4. Do you exfoliate? Yes.
  5. What brand do you use? Soap & Glory.
  6. What moisturizer do you use? Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer.
  7. Do you have freckles? Yes.
  8. Do you use eye cream? No.
  9. Do you or did you have acne prone skin? No, I only have the usual teenage skin problems.
  10. Did you ever have to use Pro-Active? No.
  11. What foundation do you use? Rimmel London 25 hour foundation - Shade 103.
  12. How about concealer? Lasting perfection - Collection
  13. Do you know your undertone colour? Olive
  14. What do you think of false eyelashes? I love them but my eyes are to small to wear them :(
  15. Did you know that you're supposed to change your mascara every 3 months? I do now!
  16. What brand of mascara do you use? MUA Mega Volume (it's actually really good).
  17. Superdrug or Boots? Superdrug!
  18. Do you have a Superdrug Bonus Card? No.
  19. What make up tools do you use in make up application? Beauty Blender, Brushes, Eye curler.
  20. Do you use a primer? Yes.
  21. Do you use a eye primer? No.
  22. How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner? Never because I don't tend to use eyeliner :)
  23. What do you think of pigment eye shadows? Messy, Messy, Messy.
  24. Do you use mineral make up? No.
  25. What is your favorite lipstick? Rimmel London Colour Show Off - Love Me 130.
  26. How about lip gloss? I don't like lip gloss personally so I don't wear it.
  27. What is your favourite blush to use? Body Collection Blusher Set in English Rose - I use the one in top left corner :)
  28. Do you buy your make up on Ebay? Nope.
  29. Do you like drug store make up? Yes, it's the only make up I use.
  30. Did you ever consider taking make up classes? I would love too, I just don't know where to go that's not so expensive.
  31. Are you clumsy in putting on make up? Not really
  32. Name a make up crime that you hate? Using the wrong colour foundation. I hate it when I see girls with really pale skin and bright orange foundation with that thick foundation line around their jaw, ugh.
  33. Do you like colourful shades of eyeshadow/lipstick or neutral ones? I prefer neutral as I think it suits me better, but I don't mind colourful shades either (depending).
  34. Which celebrity always has great make up? Cheryl Cole for me :)
  35. If you had to leave the house using just one make up item, what would you use? Foundation!
  36. Could you ever leave the house with no make up on? As much as I hate it, I do tend to sometimes. I once went all the way in to town, shopping... with my boyfriend with no make up on because he dared me to do so. It was horrible, I was so self-conscious but since then, I've felt better about doing so. Just sometimes, when I cba to do it or my skin needs a break from it :)
  37. Do you think you look good without make up on? No haha that's what being self conscious does to you :(
  38. In your opinion, what is the best make up line? Rimmel London.
  39. What do you think of make up? I love it; but it depends. I wouldn't want to see a 7 year old girl wearing make up but I think when you hit being a teenager it sort of becomes 'acceptable' to wear it. Also, if you have perfect skin then why should you cover it up with make up? You shouldn't. I use it to make myself look better, not worse. If I had perfect skin, then I wouldn't use it at all but unfortunately I'm not that lucky :(
  40. At what age was you, when you started wearing make up? ooh erm, start of year 7 I think! so when I was about 11-12 years old.

I saw the Queen, The Queen saw meeeee.

Hi girlies!

Yesterday (10/07/2014) myself, and many others had the privilege of seeing the Queen & the Duke of Edinburgh in Matlock, Derbyshire.

Sadly, I didn't get chance to meet her in person but I got a pretty close look at her when she drove past in the Royal Car surrounded by security (who were btw, gorgeous).

I never dreamed of being able to stand within a few metres of her, so I was super excited to make it come true. It was an immense experience which I would love to re-live again.

To make things even more exciting for me, it was the first time I'd taken out Lola (our new puppy/dog). I don't think she really knew what was going off, but it didn't stop her from getting excited herself.

So anyway, we started off the day by driving to Cromford. We parked up, and had a lovely stroll down to Matlock Bath.

We then sat and chilled for a bit whilst waiting for the Queen to arrive. Lola started to get a bit warm, so we was forced to stand in the shade for the majority of the journey (which we didn't mind). As we waited, a ton of people started to line up against the side of the road. I just loved seeing all the school kids with their little flags.

After she'd gone past us, I was super excited and couldn't stop singing "I saw The Queen, The Queen saw meee" which did in fact drive my family crazy!

We then began walking back to the car, although my sister got a little lazy so we stayed behind whilst my mum went to fetch the car. We decided to go down to Matlock in which we saw even more people standing on the side of the road. We figured that she'd be returning soon, and decided to stick around and wait for her.

After all of the excitement we went for a walk round Matlock. It was a lovely day, around 26c. We went for an Ice cream and took some family pictures! (which I look really weird on, I one of those girls that just doesn't look right on photo's).
