Youtube Favorites!

YOURtube Favorites

No, I haven't misspelled Youtube. I'm interested in finding out what everyone else's favorite Youtube channels are. I know mine, but I'm always eager to find out what other people watch. I'm mostly interested in the Beauty related channels, but recently I've been watching Cooking video's & DIY video's as well as the Vlog Channels of my favorite Youtubers. It's great to know what other people get up to in the day, as well as what they eat, and what they put on their face. It might seem strange to some people, but for us ones that do watch them it's a fun way to get to know other people around the world. I will give you my list on my favorite channels, whilst also giving you a bit of information on why I like them and why I watch them. Warning!!! - I have quite a lot of Favorites but the top one is my all time favorite.

  • Shaaanxo - Shannon Harris from New Zealand is my favorite (of all time) Youtube Guru. Her video's include beauty related topics such as make up tutorials, hauls, reviews, GRWM video's, Make up challenge's & so much more. They also include fashion video's, and OOTDs. I think she's such a beautiful down to earth girl. Her video's are amazing, and I'm so glad I started following her. She posts a new video every other day at 2pm New Zealand time which I think is a good way of keeping up to date. You can also check her out on her Vlog channel: Shaaanxo Vlogs. On this channel she provides her subscribers with Cooking video's, Follow me around video's, and anything else that is not beauty related. She's recently signed up to a RF Living Well programme  in which she'll be showing video's to do with Health & Fitness as well as more healthy cooking video's. You can also see her briefly in her boyfriend's video's as he has his own channel too :) She has an adorable little poochie called Zeus and often you'll see him in her vlog video's.
  • Macbarbie07 - Bethany Mota from California is my type of girl, yet probably a little more hyper than me. Her video's provide us with information about her hair, make up, fashion, essentials, DIY projects, and basically anything that she loves, and we love them too! Just like Shannon, she's beautiful. She has no imperfections although I have noticed that one of her eyebrows is higher than the other, tell me that I'm seeing things? But that is not an imperfection. She's very child-like in her own way, not in a bad way at all because I'm just like her, but she's hyper in pretty much all of her video's, quite loud and very bubbly.  She also has a Vlog Channel although she doesn't tend to post video's on that channel that often, which is quite sad but not sad enough that I don't follow :) The random life of Bethany! - This includes follow me around video's, baking video's & anything not related to her main channel.
  • AprilAthena7 - Literally just the other day I came across this girl, and already she's one of my favorites. Mad right? Her video's included in this channel are beauty related, DIY projects, tutorials, reviews, fashion related, monthly faves, hauls and so much more. To get a full blown idea of what she does, check out her channel. She also has a Cooking Channel, and a vlog channel in which she shares with her husband. He also has a channel. Her cooking channel is COOKwithApril & her Vlog Channel is AprilJustinTV. For this interested her husband's channel is AdviceFromJustin. Her Cooking Channel involves baking and meal cooking, whilst her shared vlog channel involves what she & her husband get up to on a daily basis as well as every Wednesday when they post WWK video's (Watcha Wanna Know Wednesday). If you love DIY video's, as well as beauty then I definitely suggest checking this girl out.
  • missglamorazzi - Ingrid Nilsen from Los Angeles, CA is also a beauty related guru as well as doing the odd GIY (Glam it yourself = Do it yourself) project. In a way she's a much prettier version of me, like me she has oily skin & hair, and so I often find myself buying products that she herself uses. She has a snuggly kitty called Nugget (who looks so cuddly). Her video's include hauls, GRWM video's, Monthly faves, Reviews, Tags, and more. She also has a vlog channel: TheGridMonster Like other vlog channels this includes anything that isn't beauty related & also baking video's. She has a lot of video's with Luke who is now her ex boyfriend... just thought I'd clear that up before anyone gets confused whilst watching 'the boyfriend tag'.
  • Carlibel55 - Carli Bybel from New Jersey is a Kardashian Look a Like. She is absolutely gorgeous, she is defiantly the type of girl I dream of looking like. She's perfect with & without make up, no imperfections whatsoever. She has a hunky boyfriend and a gorgeous closet. Honestly, her shoe collection is to die for. I can't even explain how amazing video's are. You need to check her out in order to find out for yourself. She also has a second channel for anyone that is interested, although it's not often that she posts video's on there. The Inner Beauty Bybel.
  • Andrea's Choice - Andrea Brooks from California Mainly does DIY video's (which is what I'm interested in) but also a few beauty video's. I have to say, and I don't mean to be creepy but her voice is so soft and soothing, listen to her... You'll agree. She does the most amazing DIY tutorials and it's so easy to follow with her step by step instructions. I have also noticed that most of the stuff she buys for her projects are found on Amazon, so if you live abroad like me (I live in England) then it's easy to find the exact copy of what she's using. She does have a second channel but I'm not a subscriber as she hasn't uploaded a new video in over a year, so I don't find the point in following her on that channel.
  • DailyMix - DailyMix is a beauty and makeover channel featuring celebrity make up looks, how to videos and challenges between Jim & Zoella. The hosts of this channel features some of the most popular guru's on Youtube in the UK. That includes: Pixiwoo, Tanya Burr, Jim Chapman, A model Recommends, Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter, and many many more. The channel gives the subscribers a chance to have a make over done by one of the selected make up artists. There's also a chance to sit and watch celebrity interviews and involve yourself in the fantastic giveaways. This channel is a must. It's almost like a TV show, yet it's aired online & not on television.
  • Sprinkle Of Glitter - Louise from London is a 25 year old mother, who's married and is a lover of anything glittery. (I'm not joking), but as side from her love of glitter she is also a fantastic beauty guru on Youtube which makes her one of the most popular in the UK. I love how bubbly her personality is and how she doesn't care about what other people think about her, which is never anything bad because like I said she's fantastic. She's a bit on the random side, very out going I'd say. Most of her video's are beauty related but there's times when she uploads none beauty related video's, not that I'm complaining because she's great in all her video's. If you go back to her oldest video's you'll be able to see her pregnancy updates. I think that's amazing how she was able to share her journey to whole of Youtube. Now, 2 years on her gorgeous little girl Darcy is the spit image of Louise and to make things even better she's often seen in Louise's video's & vlogs! Which reminds me, Louise has a vlog channel - Sprinkle Of Chatter.
  • Zoella - Zoe, 22 from London is one of Louise's best friends, her 'chummy'. I wasn't that keen on her at first, but once I'd watched a few of her video's I became addicted. Her video's range from beauty related to her own personal video's, and she's recently filmed her most requested video which is her 'Everyday Make up routine'. I must say, she's pretty gorgeous without make up. She hasn't got perfect skin, but it's perfect enough for me. I would love to have skin like hers. Instead I'm always breaking out, have tons of freckles and it's always red! cry cry. Zoe also has a vlog channel - MoreZoella. This channel includes everything none beauty related & follow me rounds which include some great trips abroad and to special events in which she get's the pleasure of going too. Zoe is such a bubbly person, she can come off as shy sometimes but that usually gets pushed to the back of her mind as her real personality shines through. I'm very proud of her actually, as she's said plenty of times that she suffers with panic attacks. For her to make something of herself in such a 'famous' way whilst suffering with anxiety, I'd say that was pretty damn cool.
I follow so many more people but I have to say, these are my top favorites. Other favorites include: Tanya burr, Fleurdeforce, Laurenbeautyy, Saturdaynightsalrite, Dollybowbow, Stilababe09, Thatsheart and Beauty Crush but for me to write about all of these would take ages and I don't want to bore you! Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and I'll speak to you soon.

For all you animal lovers :)

My babies :)

For those of you who are animal lovers like myself, you'll be happy to know that this post is 100% dedicated to my own pets as well as previous pets which I have owned in the past.
I have 4 kitty's & 1 dog at the moment but I have had a life filled with the joys of all sorts of different animals; from birds to ferrets, from hamsters to frogs ect. There were times when my family had to get rid of them for personal reasons, and other times because unfortunately their life was over & they passed away. For anyone who owns pets and loves them as much as I love mine, you should also know that they are apart of your family. I worry about my babies as if they was my actual baby. When they cry, I'm there. When they're hurt, I'm there. When they want a cuddle, I'm there. When they're hungry/thirsty, I'm there. The truth is, I'm always there for them no matter what and I know that they are always there for me.  I can't show you all the pictures from every single animal because sadly I don't have any, but I can show you some pictures of my recent pets, and the ones who live with me now (who by the way, are sat cuddling me as I write this).

I don't have any pictures of the ferrets, birds, frogs, hamsters or my previous dogs & cats. But I can remember them all in fine detail, so here I will explain :)
Firstly though I'm going to talk about the ones up above in those pictures, because as you can see they are so adorable.
My dog; Jess: she's a black & white border collie. She is 10 years old & my family have had her since she was a puppy. I grew up with her, she's apart of me now. Without her, there would be a massive hole in my heart. I love her to the moon & back. She can be very needy though, always wanting to go out, needing lots of water & food and she always wants lots of cuddles! But I don't mind, because without her I'd be lost. I once remember this time, we was at the beach in Skegness and she was chasing the waves. She was really quite scared of them, and because of that she kept running further & further away. I had to chase her miles across the beach to get her. It was quite scary for me actually, I thought I'd lost her because at one point, I couldn't even see her as she was that far away from us. Luckily though I managed to get a helping hand from some guys down at the beach, and she was brought back to me all in one piece :)
The other dog; Alfie: Interesting story to how I got that little bugger. I was in the town center with my now ex boyfriend, and we had gone for walk along a park close by. As we was walking, we heard some barking coming from an alley way where nobody was. We decided to check it out as it seemed quite strange the fact that nobody really went down there & it was blocked off. As we looked over the fence, we saw this gorgeous black dog, tiny he was, stood there. He was tied up to the fence, with a can of food next to him. It was so sad to think that someone had just left that poor little doggy to fend for himself. I quickly grabbed hold of him, and gave him the biggest cuddle ever. It was really upsetting; I nearly cried. Anyway, we was thinking of taking him to the police station, but what would of been the point? Someone obviously left him there because they didn't want him anymore & they would of only sent him to a animal shelter. I didn't want that and neither did my *now ex boyfriend. We fought over who should have him, but in the end we decided it was best that I was to take him. I rang my mum and she told me not to bring him back, but I refused to listen to her, and brought him home with me anyway... (She wasn't happy). He was so scared on the way home, I didn't have a lead or anything so all I could to was hold him in my arms whilst we traveled home on the bus. The few weeks I spent with him was amazing, but at the time we couldn't afford to have 2 dogs, so I had to give him up. Fortunately, my mum knew someone who would be perfect for him. Now, he's living up on some farm; chasing the chickens I would imagine. I'll never forget him though, and I'll never forget how I saved his life :)
The white & grey cats: Smiggle and Sugar: I've had the Smiggle & Sugar since they were babies too. Smiggle was the runt of the litter and she was so poorly when she came to live with us... we honestly didn't think she was going to make it through; She had very poorly eyes, and struggled to keep them open most days. I would have to bathe them in warm milk every morning and night to keep them clean. Smiggle is originally my cat. Sugar is my sister's cat. They are both sisters, as you can probably tell. Smiggle has always been very naughty; if she doesn't get her way or if you aren't giving her enough attention she will make herself known. She'll see something on the side, jump up and push it off onto the floor. It doesn't matter what it is, whether it's your phone or an ornament she'll just push it off with her paw, and when you look at her she'll put her head up at you and then walk away and do it again. As you can see in one of the pictures, she's grabbing my food off my plate. She'll do this often. I'll look away for a split second and when I turn back and look at my plate, half my food will be gone. Sugar on the other hand, has always been very posh and stuck up. She's a quiet cat and loves cuddles. She also 'suckles' a lot on dressing gowns. She's been doing it since she was a baby, and she's never really grown out of it. She loves the outside, and is out probably 99.9% of the time. (I make sure all of my cats are in at night, because they hate being out at night... weird? I think so!)
The black, orange & white cat; Nala: This little beauty is one our most baby-like cats. She's very much a baby, she doesn't meow at all. She makes a screaming/crying sound instead (like a baby). When she first came to us, as a kitten... My sister would rock her to sleep like a baby whilst she played lullabies to her, and I know for a fact that her favorite was the 'Goodbye' song from the show 'Bear in the big blue house'... because it still sends her to sleep now! Nala likes to be on her own a lot of the time, you'll often find her in the kitchen playing with her little football, kicking it around and she often makes noises whilst doing so. She can't jump properly yet either, not like our other cats. She enjoys the outside, but not as much as she should (as she is a cat after all). She only seems to stay on the back garden, and doesn't really leave the area. Still, she loves her cuddles just like the rest of them do :)
The black & white cat; Marnie: Marnie is a tiny cat, she still very much looks like a kitten due to her size. She isn't going to grow anymore, which to me is great because she'll never stop being a kitten. She's very naughty, and quite rough. The neighbors have had to bring her back home plenty of times because they've caught her in their house eating their food. She's very skinny too, and I'm sure if you saw her you'd probably be thinking that we starve her! But we don't, if anything she eats more than the other cats. She's a very cuddly cat, probably the cuddliest of them all. She plays with our hair a lot, nudging her little love-heart shaped nose against my hair. She will literally put her arms around my neck and hug me. I've never felt/seen anything like it before. She can't meow properly either, but it doesn't stop her from getting most of the attention!
The parrot; Grey: Grey was our much loved Parrot, unfortunately we was made to give him up due to moving house and there not being enough room :(.  He was a lovely chirpy Parrot, very lively. He loved being out of his cage, and flying around the house... He was obsessed with Smiggle and would quite often shout her name. They got on like a house on fire. He was pretty amazing, we even got him to swear at people. I miss him dearly, and would have him back in the click of a finger if I could.

The rest of our animals; who we've either given up for personal reason or who have died (r.i.p) were all amazing in their own little way. I had 3 fire bellied frogs; Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla (I was a kid at the time, excuse the names). At the time though, I didn't realize they was actually toxic, but it never bothered me. Sadly they died after a few months, I never knew why but I guess it was just one of those things. I buried them in my then back garden. (I live somewhere else now). My ferrets, I had these when I was born up until I was a toddler, they died too. There was mine; Spindle & my sisters; Munch
I don't remember much about them, except I loved them so much when I had them & I would play with them a lot.
When I was younger, I also had 2 other cats; Ran-bow & Bishop. I loved them both the same, but I was more close to Bishop than I was Ran-bow.  Ran-bow went days without coming back, until we realized that he was in fact going away to die (because apparently some cats actually do that). I thought he had died until he randomly came back one early morning, I grabbed him and brought him inside where he died peacefully with his family around him.
Bishop died because she went under a car, petrol had somehow dripped onto her fur, and she'd licked it. She had to be put down, and it was so emotional & upsetting for me, because I loved her so much. When I was born, I also had 2 Cockatoo's but I don't remember much about them, so I can't really talk about them. I've had many dogs over the years. My dad's dog Brew was my first dog from when I was born. He was my dad's best friend, and mine too. Then I had Fly, he was a gorgeous border collie too. He actually had a puppy with Jess. (only one puppy though, strange right?) The puppy was called Faye. We gave him up so he could have a better life with other people who would be able to walk him every day, and take him up onto the fields. I still see him now though, and he looks very happy. Then we had Buster, he was deaf & blind which also meant he was extremely clumsy. He was so funny though; he'd walk up the stairs, fall down them and then walk back up again. It was hilarious to watch, as he just kept getting back up as if nothing was wrong. When we walked him, we'd let him off the lead and he'd just bump into everything, he was such a cutie. Then we had Harry, he was a black & brown Jack Russell. He very sadly got hit by a train. There was an embankment at the bottom of our garden, and one day he escaped through the fence and got down on to the track, minutes later a train went by, and my step dad had to go on to the railway line to fetch him. We also buried him in our garden.
Sally was the dog that lived with us when my mum got a new partner. She originally lived with them, but soon we came apart of that family too and so Sally became apart of ours. She was old though, and died years later. She is another dog to be buried in our then back garden. I think that's it for pets, but I can't quite remember? Oh yes, we had 2 hamsters too! & my older step brothers had lizards but there isn't much to tell about those.

I hope you enjoyed this post, sorry for it to be a long one.

Oreo Fantastic!

Today I feel like giving you another recipe to try out. It's not food, it's more like a little treat and something to do on those rainy days, and do you wanna know what the best part is?  It's easy to make & cheap too!
I was browsing Facebook as I usually do, and I came across a picture of these Oreo treats, the picture basically shows you how to make them, and since I love Oreo's I decided that I was going to make them and drag my boyfriend down that road too. I found the picture on one of those random pages that I must have liked years ago in my younger days; they're always uploading silly pictures, quotes & sometimes really interesting facts & stories, but this recipe was a first and I was going to try it out.

As you can see by the picture; it basically shows you everything you need to know. Okay so it doesn't exactly tell you the recipe in writing but it shows you pictures which has always been easier for me... but just in case you don't understand what you do (I'm not calling you stupid by the way), but some people might not properly understand it, I will tell you myself. I'm probably not even doing it properly, but this is my way so enjoy :')

Ingredients
  • Oreo's (the small ones)
  • Big bar of chocolate (of your choice)
  • Sprinkles
  • The Fabulous Bakin' Boys Cupcakes (any flavor as you'll only be eating the topping anyway)
  • Cocktail Sticks
Recipe
  1. Firstly you need to unwrap all the cupcakes from the packaging and take the top part off all of them, don't break any otherwise it won't work. Feel free to eat the sponge, I did.
  2. Secondly you need to split the Oreo's in half, try not to damage them because like I said about the cupcakes, it won't work.
  3. Put the cupcake topping on the inside of your Oreo's and then put the other half of the Oreo on top of it, squish it together as if to say it was a sandwich.
  4. Break up your chocolate in a bowl, boil the kettle and pour the boiling water into a empty bowl then using the bowl filled with chocolate, stack it on top. This should melt the chocolate,  stir it as much as you can until smooth. You might have to do this 1-2 times to make sure all the chocolate is melted. DO NOT mix the water & the chocolate together.
  5. Once the chocolate has melted, use a cocktail stick so that you can get a good grab of the Oreo treat and then dip it into the chocolate. Make sure it's completely covered and then put it on tray lined with a baking sheet.
  6. Once you've done all the Oreo's, you can now decorate them with the sprinkles.
  7.  Lastly, put them in the fridge to harden. I didn't really time mine, I just kept checking them to see if they was hard, but I'd say keep them in there for at least 2 hours.
  8. Then take them out, and enjoy the scrumptious taste :')

This is how mine turned out; not that great but at least I tried it out and they still tasted pretty good :)

50 Date Night Ideas

You're young, broke and madly in love. You've gone through the "Honeymoon stage" of your relationship (for those who don't know, it's the first 6 or so months of being really happy, with no problems). You're bored and you find yourself arguing with your partner all the time. You have no money, there's nothing to do and you spend your days in watching the same old boring TV shows that you've seen a thousand times before. You think to yourself that maybe the relationship is over? There's nothing left to fight for? Well, if you love your partner then you're wrong. How else do you think people get to that 50th anniversary? Do you really think that they would of gone 50 years with no arguing or problems? I have done as much Google-ing as anyone could possibly do these past few months as to what the hell I am supposed to do in this situation, and the only thing that keeps coming back to mind is 'Date Night'. Now you have all heard of going on dates, am I correct? So who's to say that you can't go on a date with your partner? I have so many idea's as to what you could do to help salvage your relationship. If you look online, you'll find plenty of idea's but mainly to those who are married, with kids in their own house. For people like me who are still young, living at home with no kids it's quite tricky to find helpful idea's as to what me and my boyfriend should spend our weekends together doing. So here's a small (actually quite large) list of things to do that's either really cheap, free or just those nights that you have to save up for. Hope you enjoy :)

  1. Fondue; grab some fruit and marshmallows, melt some chocolate in a bowl and dip your snacks in chocolate.

    Monday 3 June 2013

    Hello beautiful's.

I'm super bored right now, so I've decided to pop on here and write a 'review' as such about Tattoo's. I personally like them, I don't love them but then again I don't hate them either. It's nice to have a few tattoo's, nothing big, just something small that actually means something. I have one on my left wrist; I got this when I was 16, I did have parent consent although I don't think you're actually legally allowed to have one until you're 18 in the UK. (but I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it). I wanted something that meant something to me, I mean if you're going to scar your body which will always be on your skin for the rest of your life, what's better than having something which means something right?

My mum can be quite strict when she wants to be, and so it took a lot of begging and sucking up to her to finally get the answer I was looking for. She agreed on the condition that it was small, and nothing big or on show that would possibly ruin my chances of employment. I agreed to this condition and so I took to the internet to find my first tattoo. I won't lie, there is so many to choose from. Some of them are brilliant, and some of them are damn right awful... but after months of searching for the perfect tattoo, I finally found one which my heart clung too. It was a simple 'love' word on my wrist, really tiny but in the most beautiful font. I loved it from the first day I clicked eyes on it, and still to this day I love it. One problem though; my tattoo turned out like nothing compared to the picture.

                                                        The tattoo I wanted.

In fact it's horrendous and I honestly 100% regret having it done. The problem was the tattooist wasn't a professional... he was just some guy that my mum knew. He wasn't licensed either which makes things worse but of course I didn't know that at the time, although with me being 16 I honestly don't think my feelings for wanting one would change, and therefore I would of probably gone through with it regardless.

My tattoo is situated around the same place as the picture above, on my left wrist. The font is nothing like the one in the picture, it's not as small as the one in the picture and to make things even worse for me, it's upside down. So for people to have a proper good view at it, I have to prop my arm up in a strange way which actually kind of hurts.

When I went to get this done, I was so nervous understandably as this was my first tattoo, and I'm not the biggest fan of pain. In fact I cried when I got my belly, ears & nose pierced... so this was the biggest thing I was letting myself into, but I did it. I manned up and honestly the pain wasn't even that bad. It hurt a bit over the bone (or is it a vein, not sure?) but it was just like a scratch, nothing seriously painful that would put me off having another tat.

I feel that the worst thing about the whole experience was the fact that I mainly felt pressured into it. Not the tattoo because I did want that done, but the whole designing it and what not. I tried to stand my ground as much as I could but to be honest I just wanted it all to be over as quick as possible, so I said yes to any font, I didn't get a say in the size & I was begged my the tattooist as well as my mate to have it done upside down.  I don't know what even came over me to agree to that because now I'm stuck with it for life, but I must of been high on panic because at the time I didn't even realize that it was upside down, it was only a few days later that I actually realized what a huge mess it looked.

Love means a lot to me; I love my family, my friends, my partner, my pets, my food, my make up ect. In fact I love most things in life, and so I felt that this would somehow show people that I do believe in love.

Sorry about the lighting, my camera was dodgy & so I had to edit it to make it brighter.

My honest opinion? Don't have a tattoo until you're at least 18. Make sure you think about exactly what you want and where you want it. Stand your ground with your views because after all it is going on your body. Tell the tattooist exactly what you want and don't let them do it any different to what you asked for. Always make sure that the tattooist is licensed and knows what they're doing, and don't get something in the mere split of a second because you will regret it at some point. If you're scared of pain or don't like pain, but still want a tattoo, go for something simple & small & also keep it away from any bones because the pain will be worse over the bone. I actually want another one, but I'm going to wait until at least my 18th for my next one, and I'm going to be proper about the next one and not be pressured into something I'm not comfortable with. Of course, I don't want them all over my body because I personally don't find that attractive & neither does my partner, but I'd like a few small ones here and there... the only thing I'm dreading now though, is what they're going to look like when I'm an old woman.
